Real Estate Success Stories

  • Dan first met Tanner through a mutual love of cycling. Tanner and Clarissa were living in Wellford at the time,  but they purchased land in Landrum near Lake Lanier to build a new home with a large detached garage for Tanner’s work and a beautiful pink home office for Clarissa!  

    The couple wanted a modern style home, and the final build is stunning: an amazing master suite that includes a gorgeous covered deck with stunning views. As their home was nearly finished, they asked me to help sell their current home. We hit the market at the end of November, and we were under contract before the end of January.  Not bad given the winter and holiday season!

    Tanner and Clarissa moved into their new home in late January, closed on their existing home in February, and are now our Landrum neighbors.  Dan and Tanner cycle together most weekends and Clarissa and I join them for dinners out on the town.  Some of our favorite places are just over the border in Tryon (the Brooks Tavern) and Saluda (the Purple Onion), NC. Dear friends and clients for life!

  • Kristina and Ricky called me with an SOS at the end of 2023: they were in a tricky market and needed to see if their contract was accepted.  At the time, the market offerings were pretty limited, but our first showing allowed us to talk at length about their home wish list. The more I know, the better equipped I feel to serve.  The holidays and travel plans made connecting difficult, but I kept an eye on the market!  After their offers and negotiations were rejected on one home,  we kept a close eye on listings and finally landed on one in their budget and style. This was it, and we all knew it!  We put in a strong offer that day and waited...Our offer was accepted!

    I negotiated repairs and seller concessions to ensure the home met their needs and their budget, even assisting with due diligence and inspection concerns. Kristina and Ricky took ownership of their new home in February 2024, and they immediately began renovations to create a new master suite and bath along with a walk-in closet that will include the laundry.  They have updated the kitchen and great room and continue to send me before and after photos of their work.  They even invited me to their wedding in April and have become very dear friends!  I cannot even begin to express how much I loved working with this precious couple.  


  • Brittany and Russell were expecting their 5th child when I first met them, and they needed land with plenty of room to run and play. We texted almost daily over potential properties until we finally found something in northern Greenville County that was everything they wanted. 

    Negotiating land after making an offer can be tricky to manage: timing of surveys, ensuring viability of building, checking on zoning, etc. I negotiated for Brittany and Russell so they did not have to worry about anything except preparing for their new baby. 

    Despite multiple challenges with the survey company, we were able to still nail down a closing date within two weeks of Brittany's due date.  The Seawrights and I still talk often, and I  love hearing about their vibrant family and their future plans for their new land.
